3  Founded Patriots Community Band and was its first director from 1977 to 1980 (Elyria, OH)

4 Since 1986: College admissions officer at Alderson-Broaddus College (WV), North Carolina Wesleyan College, High Point University (NC)

5  Four grand kids - two in NC and two in Canada

6  Currently playing tuba in the Oasis Shriners Band in Charlotte, NC and at Rich Fork Baptist in Thomasville, NC

7  Naster of Acacia Lodge #674 in High Point, NC
